JAZZ BAND
Egan Jazz Band meets on Wednesdays from 5 - 6:30 after school in the music room. Our teacher is Mr. Lewis. Any Egan 7th or 8th grader may join, with any instrument, even instruments that are not traditionally thought of for jazz.
There is no fee to join. We play popular and jazz music, learn improvisation, and sometimes we write our own compositions. We participate in school concerts, play with other schools, and we may visit a jazz festival.
