Principal's Message:
It is always my pleasure to welcome you to Egan Jr. High School. Our students take pride in the fact that Egan's school motto states: Egan Vikings Strive for Excellence. Students appreciate that the focus is on each individual doing his or her best. As one former student wrote, "Egan has prepared us not only for high school but life."
Each year our high academic achievement continually places Egan Jr. High as one of the top schools in the state. Egan's 7th and 8th grade population of 531 students represent a racial/ethnic composition of the school with 64% Caucasian, 27% Asian, 4% Hispanic, and a small mix of other groups. School activities help create a culture that is fun, one that actively encourages student participation, and shows our great school spirit. Graduating students are well prepared for high school, and their ongoing success is confirmed by the testimony of our students and parents after they leave Egan.
